From $14k fluke to $47k in 3 months (what Tyriq taught me)
Hey there friend,
I recently uploaded a video to YouTube going over the numbers with another one of my first students, Tyriq.
$47,000 in commissions over the 3 months.
But here's what made his story different from most success stories you hear:
He came to me after his biggest month ever.
Most people would ride that high and think they figured it out.
Tyriq did the opposite.
Here's what happened and the lessons you can steal:
The $14k Reality Check
In December, Tyriq hit $14,000 in a single month.
His first reaction wasn't celebration.
It was doubt.
"Maybe this is luck. Can I replicate this again?"
While most people would coast on that success, he immediately started looking for coaching.
That mindset shift - from "I made it" to "I need to master this" - separated him from everyone else.
Lesson #1: Success Without Systems Is Just Luck
Tyriq understood something most people miss:
Random big months don't build businesses. Systems do.
He didn't want to hit $5k, then $20k, then back to $3k.
He wanted consistency.
"I quit my job to focus on this. I need somebody to sharpen my edges and tell me yes, no, yes, no."
Lesson #2: Be Ready to Rebuild Everything
When we started working together, I had to completely deconstruct his approach.
He went from posting 5-10 videos per day across random products to focusing on quality over quantity.
His reaction: "I was shocked. I didn't understand. I was like, what? I didn't know about this."
But instead of defending his old methods, he embraced the new approach entirely.
Lesson #3: Fight Your Own Instincts (use data instead)
There was a product Tyriq wanted to quit on.
Every instinct told him to switch.
I told him to stick with it based on the data.
He fought himself for weeks: "There were times where I was like, I'm just going to change it. But something inside was like, listen to Kade, don't change it."
That product became one of his top performers.
Lesson #4: Quality Beats Quantity Every Time
Before: 8-10 videos per day, hoping something would stick
After: Fewer videos, but each one engineered for success
"One great video is worth 20 regular videos. It's not throwing a wet noodle at a wall anymore."
He now analyzes every element: hook, reel-in, tone, background, screen text.
Lesson #5: Patience During the Dips
Even with the right system, Tyriq had low days.
He'd message me: "Man, I don't know. I don't know."
I'd remind him: "Be patient. This is business."
Then boom, as expected, massive days would follow.
"You’ve got to realize there's going to be great days, lower days, good days. Don't let that tear you down."
The Compound Effect
Month 1: Learning the system, fighting old habits
Month 2: $10k+ despite everything possible going wrong
Month 3: $47k total over the three months, pure execution
The breakthrough didn't happen overnight.
It was the compound result of doing the right things consistently.
What Made Tyriq Different
It wasn't talent or luck.
It was his approach:
He questioned his own success
He invested in education at his peak
He completely rebuilt his methods
He trusted data over instincts
He stayed patient during setbacks
Most people do the opposite of all five.
The Mindset That Changes Everything
"I want my future to come to me as fast as possible. I know if I give somebody the time to give me the knowledge, it's going to come way faster."
While others waste months figuring it out alone, Tyriq compressed his learning curve.
From construction worker to top 0.1% of TikTok Shop affiliates in less than a year.
Your Choice
You can keep hoping your next month will be better.
Or you can do what Tyriq did: question your current approach, invest in the right education, and build systems that create consistent results.
The opportunity is the same for everyone.
The execution separates the winners from the wishers.
What are you going to choose?
Talk soon,
Kade
P.S. Tyriq's advice for anyone on the fence: "Invest in yourself. It will probably be the best money you've ever spent. I wouldn't wait for your future to come to you."
