Why 99% of TikTok Shop affiliates are fighting for crumbs

Hey there friend,

What's up,

This is one of the main points I made on my webinar this Wednesday, which you can replay live here [LINK].

I showed everyone a product that had over 7,000 affiliates promoting it, yet only the top 5 affiliates made 54% of the total GMV. That's 5 people out of 7,000 taking home more than HALF the money.

And it gets better. I was #1, one of my students was #2, and my mom was #7. This wasn't luck. It was strategy.

Most people think TikTok Shop is this level playing field where everyone has an equal shot. But TikTok heavily favors affiliates who are already performing well for a specific product. If you're getting consistent sales and posting regularly, the algorithm sees you as a trusted source and boosts your videos more.

While everyone else is jumping from product to product hoping something sticks, the top affiliates are doubling down on what's working. They're testing A LOT of videos for one product that has potential until they dominate it completely.

Most affiliates give up after 2-3 videos because they don't see immediate results. Meanwhile, I'm following my famous 15 Video Rule, testing proven formats that actually convert like talking head storytelling and problem-solution videos.

The key is finding products with upward momentum but low competition. I'm talking less than 25,000 units sold with very few quality affiliates making content. Everyone's chasing the viral products that already have thousands of creators fighting over scraps.

You want to be the whale, not one of the 7,000 minnows.

This approach has allowed me to never make less than $10k per month since I started, and it's how my students consistently hit their first five-figure months.

Stop fighting for crumbs and start thinking like a whale.
